It is particularly requested that during the Parliamentary session all reports, and all letters to the Editor, may be made as short as possible. All communications intended for insertion must be authenticated by the name and address of the writer, not necessarily for publication, but as a guarantee of good faith. Correspondents are specially reminded that letters should be written on one SIDE OH THE BATES OITLX. Letters, copies of which ara addresad to other journals, will not bo published in the “Lyttelton Times.” yte do not undertake to insert any communications which are not accompanied with the assurance cat our rule on this subject is complied with by our correspondents.
