ADDINGTON YARDS.

LIVE ETOOE MARKET. The strong nor’-west wind considerably improved matturs under foot at the Addington 'market yesterday, and caused the stock to assume a much bettor appearance, though the . rough weather , experienced of lato showed its effects on tho condition of tho entry. The attendance of the public was good, but tho number of stock in all departments was small. Between 7000 and SOOO sheep, 300 bead of cattle and about 200 pigs came to hand. Store Euebi-. —Under 3000 sheep occupied the store pens, the bulk of the entry being cross-bred breeding ewes and hoggets. The sale, except for best sorts, was anything but brisk, and a considerable portion of the entry did not change hands. Some very good cross-bred ewes, close to lambing, sold up to 18s 3d, and a couple of large lines were passed at 17b 6d and 16s 3d, while tho demand for hoggets was poor, Messrs H. Matson and Co.
