WEEKLY SKIN SALES. The weekly skin auctions were held yesterday at the various stores of the auctioneers. The attendance was somewhat smaller than usual, and buyers were not operating freely. There was a fair demand for extra heavy skins, but all other aorta suffered to the extent of 0d to 9d per skin, on crosa-breds and 3d to 6d on merinos. Fat remains about the same, and hides and calfskins are without alterations. Messrs Tcdhuntar and Jenninga sold 1672 skins at the following prices:—Best halfbrods 5s to 6s 2d, medium 8s lOdto 4s lOd; best longwools 5a to 5s 6d, medium 3a 3d to 4s 6d; best merinos 3s Gd to 4s 3d, medium do 2s lOd to 3a 3d; dry crossbreds 2a 3d to ss; dry merinoa Is 6d to 3a 3d; rough fat ltd to 1-Jd per lb. Mr F. C.
