All communications intended for insertion must be authenticated by the name and address of the writer, not necessarily for , publication, but as a guarantee of good faith. ■Correspondents are specially reminded that letters should be written on one BIDS OF THE PAPER ONLY. Lett;. i.i, copies of which are addressd to other journals, will not be published in the “Lyttelton Times.” We do not undertake to insert any communications which are not accompanied with the assurance nat our rule on this subject is complied with by our correspondents.
