LONDON, July 30.
Speaking on the motion for intercepting supply, Mr H. Gardner, President of the Board of Agriculture, cited the appointment of a Royal Commission to consider the marking of foreign and colonial produce as an instance of the activity of the Government in the interests of the agricultural industry. The Chronicle suggests that Mr Fisher, Conservative member for Fulham, who attacked Mr Logan, should resign. The Speaker demands an enquiry into Thursday’s scene. The War OfHce has summoned Lord Roberts to London.
