COAL MIIfING. SYDNEY, March 21. The Coal Regulation Bill has passed ia the Legislative Council. It provides that a day’s work for a coal miner shall be eight hours, with the excaption of Saturday, which shall be six hours. DISSOLUTION. ADELAIDE, March 21. Parliament has dissolved.; The writs are made returnable on or before April 15. CEICEET. In the cricket match between South Australia and Violate, the first innings of the home eleven for 242 runs (Lyons 72, G-. Giffen 43), and the second innings for 363 (Lyons 62, G. Giffen 181). Victoria put together 403 runs in the first innings (Trott 52, M’Leod 101, and Laver 104), and in the second innings knocked up the required number of runo, 206, with tha loss of six wickets, thus winning the match by four wiokete. Harry made 50 and Mackey 56 ia the second innings.
