SOUTH WAIMAKARIRI RIVER BOARD.

The usual monthly meeting of this Board vm held yesterday afternoon 5 present— Mr W. Sew (Chairman), and Messrs R. M. Taylor. J. Glanrille, 0. P. Money and H. Crooks. The Overseer reported that no damage had been done by floods since last meeting. The Clerk rend a draft letter addressed to (he Mifiiatar for Lands and the Railway Commissioners, in reference to the enesenehment of the river at Chaney’s corner.
