.The cargo steamer Hawke's Bay arrived in Port yesterday afternoon from the Spit, and was brought to a berth at No. 4 wharf. She completes her loading at this Port for London, taking in all some 1700 tons of cargo, consisting of wool, wheat, &6.,v arid also receives about 700 tons of coal into her bunkers. She is expected to get away about Tuesday next. The steamer Ohau arrived fr-#m the Chatham Islands at 10 30 a.m. yesterday with a ’cargo of live sheep. She left Whangaroa at 2.30 ,p.m. on April 10, and experienced fine weather until 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday, when a thick fog was fallen in with, and lasted until arrival. The barque Dee was towed into the stream yesterday, and will be entered out* wards at the Customs to-day. She has on b6ard a full cargo of wheat for the Home market, and was loaded by the Kaiapoi Milling and Produce Company. The ship Opawa was off Long Look-out Point yesterday afternoon, having been unable to get clear of the Peninsula owing to the light wind and thick fog which prevailed along the coast. Late yesterday evening there were no signs of the New Zealand Shipping Company's E.M.S. Euahine, from Queensland. She is probably being delayed by the dense fog which hung along the coast, and may put in an appearance in Port t>day. With the vessels expected to arrive in Lyttelton to-day, the total tonnage in the harbour will be—Steamers 21,188, sailing vessels 20,962, 'the total thus being42,ls9 tons.
