It has not yet been decided what action will be taken with regard to the ship Everest. The inquiry into the facts connected with the Are will be held to-morrow at Lyttelton. ‘The steamer Tekapo arrived from Sydney vi& Wellington yesterday at noon. She left Sydney at 6.15 p.m. oh Feb. 2, passed the Spit at 1 p.m. on Feb. 7, and reached Wellington at 1 a.m. on Feb. 8. Left again at 6.15 p.m. on the following day, and arrived as above. The Dunedin Harbour Board’s big dredge was engaged dredging close to No. 7 Wharf yesterday, having been prevented from working outside by the heavy easterly sea which'has been running into the harbour for the past few days. The p.'s. Terranora leaves to-day for Wanganui with a load of sheep: The ship Durisdeer, which follows the Carnarvon Castlebn the berth for London, on account of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, is now due in Port from St Diego. Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s cargo steamer Rangatira did not leave Wellington until 2 a.m. yesterday, and would nob therefore reach Port till late last night. She has 550 tons of merchandise for this port, and is expected to get away again on Friday morning for Dunedin, where she loads a quantity of dairy produce and returns to Lyttelton.
