PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH, GREENDALE.

The quarterly meeting in connection with the Greendale and Waddington Primitive Methodist Churches was heloHa the church at Waddington, on, Tuesday afternoon. These was a good attendance of officials, and the Bev G. Clement took the chair. The various reports presented showed success in each branch of the church work during the past quarter. 1 The financial report showed a balance in hand of £1 17s 9d after all expenses had been met. The congregations had been good during the quarter. The Mutual’lmprovement Class in connection with/ the Waddington Church was well attended, and was doing a good work among the young people. It was arranged to hold anniversary services in connection with the Waddington, Greendale and Charing Cross Sunday schools during the coming quarter. It was also decided to hold special evangelistic services in each of the churches during the same period. It was. reported to the meeting that steps were being taken to have the interior of both the Greendale .and. Waddingtop L Churches painted and beautified. In the evening, the officials and a great number of friends sat down to a tea kindly provided by the ladies of the church. After tea a public meeting was held, presided over by the Bev G. Clement, and addresses were delivered by Messrs H. Holland, W. .Mills, W. Hamm, and the Bev E. Armstrong (Wesleyan). Solos were contributed by Mrs Clement, Miss Sheraon, and the Bev, G. Clement, and recitations by Mrs Clement and Mias Jenkins. ~
