Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations;— Monday, April 27. For Northern Porta and Westport, per Brunner, at 12.30 p.m,; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m.; guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. train. Tuesday, April 28. For Northern Porta, per Rotorua, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.5 p.m. train. Wednesday, April 29. For Australian Colonies, and also for the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via. Brindisi (specially addressed correspondence only). Point de Galle, India, China, Japan/ &c., per express (to connect with s.s. Wairarapa at Port Chalmers), at 10.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.25 a.m.; guard’s van, on express, 11 a.m. Postage to the United Kingdom, 6d per -Joz. Thursday, April 30. For Northern Ports, per Poherua, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3,15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, and Australian Colonies, per Tekapo, at 12,30 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m, ; guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. train. Friday, May 1. For South America, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per Tabapuna (to connect with E.M.S. lonic at W ellington), and also for Northern Ports of New Zealand, as follows;—Ordinary letters, 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m.; registered letters and parcel post parcels, 5 p.m.; money orders, 4 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.5 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on June 13. Postage to the United Kingdom, 2id per ioz.
