The lonic arrived at the Heads at 7.30 a.m,, anchored until 11.40 a.m., arriving at the wharf at 1 p.m. She brings 2300 tons cargo (1000 being for Dunedin), three bags and one packet mails, eighteen cases parcels post, and sixty six passengers, who are being transhipped to the Penguin. The personnel of her officers is unchanged, with the exception of Dr Wright, who has succeeded Dr Dwyer. One death occurred of a child five months old, named Glaekin, on June 19, from bronchitis.
