HENRY GEORGE.
[Pan Pbkss Association.] WELLINGTON, Mat 1. At a meeting of the City Council to-, night a letter was read from the Secretary of the Single Tax Society, asking the Mayor and City Councillors to join in giving Henry George a public reception in the event of his paying a visit to Wellington. It was stated that there was a possibility of Henry George returning to New Zealand, and the Council decided to defer consideration of the matter until hia future movements are-definitely known.
