A correspondent of the Daily Graphic narrates a'novel experience in the hunting field. A hound puppy had got separated from the pack, and in its bewildered rambles, encountered a fox cub. The animals eyed each other curiously, but not malevolently, and when trying to make out whether they were friends or foes the pack came up, and gave tongue behind the fox, which then had to run in the direction of the hound, and the latter turned tail and fled. Filially, ‘‘the cub was run into in tho-open.”
