Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :
Saturday, Oct. 12. For Northern Ports and Greymonth, per Herald, at 12.30 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m. 5 guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, par Penguin, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.5 p.m. train. Monday, Oct, 14.
For Northern Ports and Westport, per Mabinapua, at 12.30 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m.; guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. traiu. For Oamaru (direct), per Oimu, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m.j guard’s van, 9.5 p.m. train. Wednesday, Oct. IS.
For South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, per Rotorua (to connect with R.M.S.S. lonic at Wellington), and also for Northern Porta of New Zealand, as follows ; Ordinary letters, 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; hooks and newspapers, 7.30 p.m.; registered letters and parcels, 5 p.m.; money orders at 4 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on Nov. 28, 1889.
