A terrible railway accident is reported from County Armagh, where two excursion trains, laden with twelve hundred Methodist Sunday School children, collided. One of the trains was derailed while ascending an incline, and the fore part, consisting of the engine and several carriages, ran back into the remaining carriages of the train. It is estimated that about one hundred were killed and another hundred injured.
