TEA SQUALLS AND TEA FIGHTS.
As we are now in the midst of winter, with its attendant cold, bleak nights, when people are forced, as a matter of necessity, to seek amusement indoors in the shape of soirees, tea-fights, &c., peril aps a word in season on _the secret of the success of such-like social gatherings may not be out of the way. First and foremost, be careful you set before your friends tea, and not. some of the wishywashy dishwater-coloured stuff too commonly sold nowadays as such. If you impress upon the promoters of your ' “swarries,” as Sam Weller would call them, the necessity for using Wardeli’s Tea, and nothing else, you will havethe satisfaction of putting your guests in a good humour to begin with, and the result is sure to be a jolly good tea-fight.
