ECCLESIASTICAL.
CUST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH., The Rev P. R. Monro, in response to a unanimous call, has just taken charge of the Cu9t and Oxford Presbyterian Churches, and will preach his first sermons to-morrow. The usual induction service and welcoming tea meetings are to be held in a week or two. Mr Monro was for some years stationed at Rangiora, and afterwards at Westport, from whence he has now come, his congregation there having parted with him with deep regret and hearty well wishes. His appointment to Cust is viewed with much favour by all Presbyterians in the district.
