♦ ■ [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTORUA, July 30. The Eotoiti Native school was totally destroyed this morning by fire. Major Wood, the master, barely escaped, but lost everything. [Per Press Association.] ROTORUA, Jult 30. Major Woods' house and school, at Taheke, Rotoiti, was burned to the ground this morning at six o'clock. The Major has lost everything, including the many medals which he had gained for valour during his .military career in China, the Crimea, Burmah, &c.
