RIFLE SHOOTING.
The E Battery, of Artillery fired the second match for its Champion Gold Star on Saturday last, at the Hillsborough range, at ranges of 200, 300, and 500yds, seven shots at each. There was a very fair attendance of members, but the shooting made was not first-class, which is, perhaps, to be accounted for by the fact that a strong wind blew across the range, and a continually changing light had to be con tended with all the afternoon.
