ACCIDENTS.

Information was received at the Police Dejrt yesterday that a very Mid affair had happened at Coalgate. On tiatunlay last a young man named James Horrell, employ wd m ploughman on Sir J. P. Jameson's farm, was kicked by a horse, and rt*otsiv«Ml injuries of so severe a nature that he sue-, combed to them, dying yesterday morning. Between four and five o'clock on Sunday afternoon a jiarty of four—two young men and two young women—from Kainpoi were thrown from a trap in which they were driving, Tho accident happened iu High Btreet, Jtengiora, just opposite the Colonial Hauk, through the horse falling. A few bruise*, ft broken and an abrasion of skin from tho horse's shoulder and knee formed the list of damage*.
