The Boer raiders in Becbuanaland have accepted the offer of the Cape Government of farms in the unallotted territory in Stellaland, and have agreed to evacuate the Chief Monisioa’s territory. Becbuanaland will then be formally annexed by the Cape Colony. EGYPTIAN FINANCES. ‘ LONDON. Nov. 27. The following has transpired regarding the Government scheme ! for the re-organisation of Egyptian i finances, which will be submitted to the Powers for approval: England is ' to advance Egypt, under proper 1 guarantee, the sum of five millions. Of that amount a million is to be spent in irrigation works. Indemnity to the sufferers by the bombardment of Alexandria will be payable by preference bonds, and the interest on Dalra Sanich 4 to 5 per cent, and Unified 4 per cent debentures will bo reduced to 3| per cent.
