A meeting of tho creditor, of George Hadley, proprietor of the Leviathan Hotel, was hold to-day. His liabilities are JS39, amt assets AIV.
Referring to Evans’ meeting yesterday, the bankrupt said that it had appeared he was a party to a deception practised ou the Equitable Company, but he considered that it was an exeusable one. as tbe Company went into the matter and made their valuation with tried- eyes openIf anyone would pass aeonsnsv on him for tiling Hko thut* ho would liko to see that man.'
