Mauhiro and W. Lapthorno. PACKING'SHEEPSKINS. The following is au extract from a London letter, received by the National Mortgage and Agency Company, 'concerning tho proper way to pauic sheepskins for tho Homo market-.—l. The sinus should bo folded once lengthways, with the wool outside, then laid ono on tho top of tho other, until a bale is formed, weighing from 7 to 8 cwt. 2 The halos should have a shoot of canvas at top, and another at tho bottom, aud thou bourn! with iron hoops, say about seven to a bale. The ends aud sides being loft open, the yvool edges of tho skin are thus exposed. 3. Tho advantages are that in this manner the skins are loss exposed to the ravages of vermin, and are more easily inspected and valued by buyers, that the pelts aro benefited by not being folded twice, and that an economy in warehouse charges is effected.
