Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations): — Monday, April 28. For Northern Ports, per Southern Cross, at 9.40 a.m.; late fee letters, at 9.50 a.m.; guard’s van, 10.25 a.m. train. For Auckland direct, per Penguin; at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Kaikonra, per Wakatu, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 3,30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Tuesday, April 29. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Te Anau, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. - For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 7 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. ' Wednesday, April 30. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Brindisi (specially addressed correspondence only) and Australian Colonies, per express (to connect with s.s. Te Anau), at 7.30 a.m. Saturday, May 3. For East and West Coasts of South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, per s.s. Tongariro (specially addressed correspondence only), at 8 a.m.; late fee letters, at 8.15 a.m.; guard’s van, 9.5 a.m. train.
