Mails close for the following; places aa under (subject to the necessary alterations): — Saturday, April £6. • For Northern Ports, per Go-Ahead, at 0.40 a.m.; late fee letters, at 9.50 a.m. j guard's van, 10.25 a.m. train. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America and West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, &c, per Hawea, as follows -.—Ordinary letters, at 6.30 .p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. j money orders,, at 3 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m ; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on June 7.
Saturday, May 3. For East and West Coasts of South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, per s.s. Tongariro (specially addressed correspondence only), at 8 a.m.; late fee letters, at 8.15 a.m.; guard's van, 9.5 o.m. train.
