Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations): — Thursday, April 24. For Otago, per Koranui, at 9.40 a.m.; late fee letters, at 9.50 a.m. ; guard’s van, 10.25 a.m. train. For Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.30 a.m.; late fee letters, at 11.40 a.m.; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Hanroto, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. Friday, April 25. For Northern Ports, per Manapouri, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, April 26. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America and West Indies (via San Francisco)! Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., &c., per Hawea, as follows Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m.; money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m ; guard’s van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on Jane 7. Saturday, May 3. For East and West Coasts of South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, per s.s. Tongariro (specially addressed correspondence only), at 8 a.m.; late fee letters, at 8.15 a.m.; guard’s van, 9.5 a.m. train.
