Madame Wolkenstein, a well - known Nihilist, who was recently arrested, is said to be one of the sisters of a lady celebrated for her beauty who has for some time been engaged in the Nihilist propaganda. She is also suspected of having carried on a correspondence with Prince Krapotkine. One of her sisters has already been trans--1 ported to Siberia, and a second is atpresent under examination.
