A show of forts, grain and roots was held in the Town, Hall, the same day, under the ouepioes of the Oxford Farmers’ Club, in ronlectioa with the Horticultural Show. Owing to thi* being the first of the kind held in the district, combined with the short notice given of the intention to cold a show, the exhibit* were not very numerous. More espeotaliy wot this the rose with foals, only five bring catered—three of th* light class and two of the heavy dsw*. The quality, however, was very good, and worthy of the prizes awarded. In the grain, the entries were also few, but this was no doubt owing to the show being held rather early is lb# season for the farmer*. la. th® Goss of th# roots, the number of entries were very fair, and the qta’ity really first class.
