WOOLSTON TOWN DISTRICT.
A meeting of the Wools ton Town District Board waa held on March 8; present Messrs Ticknor, O’Neill, Coles, M'Diarmii, and the Chairman, Mr J. H. Hopkins. A letter was received from Christchurch District Drainage Board, enclosing twelve copies of the Board's accounts for the past year. The Clerk to acknowledge same. ATetter wae received from Mr J. T. Smith, asking permission to place culvert under road at corner of shed. Referred to Works Committee. Messrs O’Neill and Attwood were authorised to wait on the Heathoote Road Board to inspect minutes relating to Cemetery and Wilson’s roads. The Clerk was authorised to write to the Chairman of the Heathoote Bead Board, and inform them that the Board intend patting in a contingent claim re widening and fencing Cemetery road. The Board appointed Mr James Bamford Registrar of Dog*, and also Clerk of the Board for the remainder of Mr Davis' term. The dork was authorised to place the names of all defaulters for unregistered doge at the end of the present month, in the bands of the police. After passing the accounts for dog collars, £Bl6s, the Board adjourned.
