An official telegram from London, dated Marsh 6, announces that the total tenders for the Yiotorian loan (£3,400,000) amounted to £8,990,000. Tenders at 100 i will receive allotment in full Tenders at 2s premium will receive two per cent of allotment The tenders averaged three shillings and sixpence premium. Two tenders alone were lor a million each. There were in all 510 tenders. Government were obliged to give a. pledge that the limit of the July loan should be two millions. In the official telegram re the loan it is stated that “tenders at 100$ and upwards will receive in full.” tßeodvea Kirch 9, »t X«wn.j In the action Moss versus Union Steamship Company, for damage to tug Sophia by collision with the steamship Manapouri, a verdict has been returned for plaintiff for £6OO.
