In the Legislative Assembly last sight, the debate on the Address ia Reply to the Governor'* speech, and on Mr Service's amendment thereto, was resumed. The following were the principal speakers:—Messrs Young and Bent and the leaders of the Conservative part/. The principal Liberals abstained from joining in the discussion. Mr Service's amendment setting forth " that the Ministry do not possess the confidence of the House," was finally carried without a division, and the House then adjourned. It is expected that the Ministry will resign to-day.
