AUSTRALIAN CUP. [Rbuter's Tblkgbams.] MELBOURNE, Feb. 6. The following scratchinga for the Australian Cup, to be run for on March 9, have been posted:—Sir Peter, Savanaka, and Martindale. WELLINGTON BAOES. [Fbb Pbbsb Association.] WELLINGTON, fn. 6. The bookmakers and owners of horses today subscribed £45 for the lad Morrinhan, who received severe injuries while riding King Quail the day previous to the races. The southern horses left by the Botorua this evening;, Sir George and Magnolia going to Picton by the Penguin. The settling for the races took - place to-night, when the following amounts were handed over:—Mr G. Bate, £59315s ; Mr B. P. Martin, £133; Mr J. Pilbrow, £llß 16s; Sir Hercules Bobinson, £76; Mr P. Butler, £3l 15s; Mr 0. Bedwood, £47 10s; Hon W. Bobinson, £47105; Mr T. H. Hill, £l4 16s; Mr Sinclair, £9 10s; Mr T. Crosbie, £9 10s; total, £llll 10s.
