Sis, —In the account of the proceedings of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, which appears in to-day’s issue, the Chairman is reported to hare said that he “ was fully convinced that such were the steps (the adding of new members to the Board) the Colonial Secretary was going to take.” I must hare expressed myself very indifferently, or hare been misunderstood by your reporter, for I can assure you that my convictions are just the opposite of those attributed to me.
