Mr Deveaux, late Acting-Governor of Fiji, has sailed for England. BRISBANE, Oct. 3. The revenue for the quarter amounts to £532,000, being a decrease of £51,000 as compared with last year. [SPECIAL.'} MELBOURNE, Oct. 3. The revenue returns show a decrease of nearly £34,000 on the quarter, and nearly £65,000 for the year. Batavian telegrams report that sugar has advanced 30s per ton. Fooohoo telegrams report an advance of 20 per cent, in common teas, 10 per cent, in medium. Eleven and a half million lbs. have been shipped to Ansi tralia. Flour, £l2 15s; business pending at an advance. Wheat, 6s 3d. The prospectus has been issued of a proposal to charter a steamer to convey a party of 70 travellers on a trip through Tasmania, the Middle Islands of New Zealand and New South Wales in 50 days, starting from Melbourne in the middle of December. The cost will be £BO each.
