Important sale of PROPERTIES AT POVERTY BAY. Undersigned have received instructions to offer for SALE AT AUCTION, At their Mart, Gisborne, on SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 1879. The undermentioned Properties, if not previously Lot I—The goodwill of Lease (18 years to run) of the MATAKOA RUN, Situate at Hicks’ Bay, East Coast, containing 3049 acres of first-class hilly and flat land, together with about 2600 half-bred sheep, 4 working bullocks, 10 head ol cattle and horses. Also, 6-roomed dwelling house, wool-shed, sheep-yards, whaleboat, implements, Ac., Ao. This property is situate on the coast, and has a good shipping place, where a boat can land in any weather. There are about 2000 acres of rich fiat land, 300 acres being subdivided into four paddocks, securely fenced in with posts and wire, and ISOO acres fenced with bush fence.
