Shanks), are instructed TO SELL BY PUBLIC AUCTION, j At Mataura Bridge, ON THURSDAY, FEB. 27, Commencing at 2.15 sharp—--3424 ACEES feeehold Comprising— Sections 1 to 35, block 1, Mabel district. Southland, being one of the earliest selections made by the New Zealand and Australian Land Company, and recently purchased from them by the present owner. The land immediately adjoins the beautiful and valuable property of Christopher Basstian, Esq, known as Woodstock. The estate now submitted to public competition is known as BLENHEIM, And contains as above, 8124 acres excellent agricultural land, divided by Government survey into 35 sections, varying from 80 to 110 acres each on on average, besides one section in block IY., immediately adjoining, and which contains from 200 to 300 acres of „ valuable bush. Arrangements are being made by which this bush section will be out up into lots of 20 to 25 acres, to be offered separately, so that each purchaser ■ of open land will have an opportunity o acquiring bush also.
