The s.s. Tui sailed for Wellington via Kaikoura last evening. The s.s. Wallabi, for Wanganui, sails to-day. The s.s. Tararaa, from Sydney via Auckland, East Coast, and Wellington, is due here this morning. She sails for Melbourne via South this afternoon. The barque Marie will be berthed at the Screwpile jetty this morning, and the Vender at the Tunnel wharf. The schooner Alert left Felorous Sound on Saturday night bound for Timaru. ~The Charles Deering for Port Chalmers, and Star tor Newcastle, sailed yesterday morning. The Clematis, brig, from Hobart Town, arrived yesterday afternoon. She sailed on Jan. 23. The p.s. Lyttelton towed her np to an anchorage. The vessel is consigned to Messrs F. Cunningham and Co. The s.s. Wallabi, Captain Leys, left Wanganui on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 4 a.m., and arrived in harbour on Sunday at 8:60 p.m. Had light north west winds and beam sea to Cape Farewell; thence light north east winds till arrival. The batqne Bells, Captain Burch, left Newcastle on Jan 14; had fine northerly and north east weather across to arrival off Capa Farewell on Thursday last; thence variable weather to arrival in harbour yesterday morning. The schooner Eeward, Capt. Westlake, returned from Motanau yesterday morning. She left for that place on Saturday, Jan. 25, and reached there on Saturday last. She experienced poor weather until she reached the north-east trades ; crossed the Equator 25 days out; took the steady westerlies in lat. 30 south; crossed the meridian of the Cape of Good Hope in lat. 43 south on Deo. 30. Had strong north-west to north winds across the southern ocean. Made the Soares at noon on Feb. 1, and arrived off the heads at two p.m. yesterday. Bluff, Peh. 3. The Arawata arrived at G p.m. She left Melbourne at mid-day on Jan. 30, with the Suez mail, 64 saloon and 51 steerage passengers, 400 tons of cargo, and 2 horses. Experienced fresh south west winds during the passage. She sails for Dunedin early to-morrow. Passed the Bobycito steering east off Centre Island.
