Mr J. L. Wilson reports :-Whent.-Very llttte offering. Samples of Tuscan shown were very good, white Velvet Chaff was vary pure, grown by the same man on adjoining land, showing that this dry season has not affected the Tuscan as It does other sorts. No soles of new made; a small piroal of old at 3s 9d. Oats.—Quality very thin, as far as seen, not a really good sample offering. Bales, three lots at Ss 3d to 3s 0d for home ounsumptioii. Probabilities are that lower prices will have to bo taken. Barley.—A few' samples offering, but quality inferior. If the samples offering are the average of the bulk, then the crop is a partial failure. No sales; prices about sa. Flour,—Beady sale for good quality. I have passed some 20 tons —prices from £9 to £lO and £llsa for Oamami. Potatoes not yet ripe. Small lots of new are worth £5 to £6. Grass seed.—Sties very slow; several lots in hand wailing: market price, about 5s to 5s 66, according to quality. Corn sacks slow of sale; price, 8s 6d in bales.
