The services of the Patea Light Horae •Cavalry are accepted. The resignation of Captain M'Neill, Clutha Sides, is accepted. The commission of Sub-Lieutenant J. J. South District Bangers, for absence without leave, is cancelled. The total amount of money orders issued for the December quarter was £98,595 18s 3d as against £85,877 12s 2d in the corresponding quarter of last year. The Savings Bank returns show an excess of withdrawals over deposits of 10,349 15s 9d. In tho corresponding quarter of last year the deposits exceeded the withdrawals by £15,724 2s 7d.
