Station. —Collection of stone implements from the State of New York, North America. Three Promissoiy Notes of Tasmania, of 1823,1826, and 1840. Mr Fraser, contractor, Malvern Waterworks.—Bocks with fossils from the Mount Torlesse beds. Mr Eiehard Oliver, builder, Km'ghtstown.— Piece of Granite from the Duke of Wellington’s Sarcophagus. Quarried at Luxulyan, Cornwall. Mr H. Turnley, Hokitika.—Specimens of Marble, Copper ore, and other rocks from Caswell Sound, West Coast of Otago. Messrs Austin and Khk, Christchurch. — Terra Cotta Yase with vine leaf and grape ornaments, manufactured by them. Mr Edward Mackenzie, Christchurch, and Mr D. M'Quinness, New Brighton.—Specimen of Epiodon Chathamiensis, goose-beaked 'Wbflils Dr L. Powell, F.L.S.—Collection of New Zealand and foreign Araehnidoe. Mr W. J. Taylor, Cleidenhurst, Malvern.— Specimen of Nemesia Gilliesii, Trap-door Spider, and nest, obtained in Malvern district. Mr G. E. Allen, Christchurch. —Specimen of Helix Busbgi, from the Kaipara district, North Island. Mr H. Ell, Christchurch. —Three fishes caught at Sumner. Mr G. H. Moore, Glenmark. —Specimen of Eudynamis taitensis, long-tailed Cuckoo. Mr Eobt. Gillies, F.L.S.—Series of specimens of Nemesia GiJUesii, Gi'lies’ Trap-door Spider, collected near Oamaru. Mr John Ellis, New Brighton.—Maori Skv’l, found amongst the Sandb’Us, New Brighton. Sir Thos. Tancred, Bart., Orari Gorge.— Collection of foreign ores, minerals, rocks, and fossils. Seven silver coins, and 32 bronze coins. Mr G. F. Eusterholy, Christchurch. —Collection of coins, consisting of 13 silver coins, 75 bronze and copper coins and medals, 29 Eoman bronze coins, six Nickel coins. Mr W. Watkins, Akaroa. —Collection of specimens of rocks. Messrs Snow and Anson, Peraki Station, Banks’ Peninsula, —Specimen of Monacanthus convexirestris (Leather jacket.) Mr James H.
