Friday, Dec. 13. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston.) IN CHAMBERS. Deeds Registration Act, and re Alfred Isaac Raphael, Deceased.—Mr Slater obtained an order for leave to register a copy of the will. Deeds Registration Act, and be Rodolph Nbilson, Deceased. —Mr Fereday obtained an order for leave to register a copy of the will. Benjamin v. De Bourbel and Others. — Mr Garrick moved for leave for plaintiff to be at liberty to deliver interrogatories in writing. Mr Joynt, on the other side, made no objection. —Leave granted. Urquhabt v. Price.—Mr Joynt applied for the settlement of issues and the fixing of the time and place of trial. The issues were settled, and the trial was fixed for the next sessions of the Supreme Court at Timaru, by a common jury. Conveying Ordinance Amendment Act, and re Application of H. Slater. — Mr Slater applied for appointment as perpetual commissioner for taking acknowledgments of deeds by married women. —Application granted. Debtors and Creditors’ Act, and re James Long.—Mr. Slater obtained an order for the discharge of debtor. Debtors and Creditors’ Act, and re Thomas D. Triphook.—Mr Joynt obtained an order for the discharge of debtor. Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act and be Jambs Blyth.—Mr Thomas obtained an order for the discharge of the debtor. Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act and re Harm Udbn. —Mr Thomas obtained an order for the discharge of the debtor. Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act and re William Bartlett.—Mr Thomas obtained an order for the discharge of the debtor.

Eb Will or John Kelly, Deceased.— Mr Joynt obtained an order for leave to issue probate to Edward Vaughan and John Donoughey, as the executors therein named.

Ee Will op Noah Martin, Deceased. — Mr Izard obtained an order to issue probate to Philippa Martin, as the executrix thereof. Eb Will op Lewis John Williams, Deceased.—Mr Thomas obtained an order for leave to issue probate to Charlotte Williams, as sole executrix thereof.

Sttjdholmb and others v. Ehodes and others.—Mr Garrick applied, on behalf of the plaintiffs, for payment out of tho sum of £SOO standing to the credit of this cause since July, 1875. Mr Harper appeared for the original defendants. Mr Joynt appeared for John Gebbie, one of the parties affected, and objected that he had not received the necessary notice. He asked for an adjournment, in order that ho might have time to communicate with his client. Ordered to stand over till next Banco day. Law Practitioners’ Act and be Henry Oottbrill.—On the motion of Mr Harper, Mr Henry Cotterill was admitted as a solicitor and as a barrister.

Eb Will op Thomas Eobinson, Deceased. —Mr Douglas obtained an order for leave to issue probate to J. Duffy, as tho remaining executor thereof. Debtors and Creditors’ Act and re Selwyn Davis. —Mr Thomas obtained an order for the discharge of debtor. • IN BANCO. JUDGMENTS. Heatiicote Eoad Board, Appellants v. Manson, Eespondent,—His Honor read the judgments of himself and Mr Justice Williams in this case. They reversed the judgment of tho Court below, being, therefore, in favour of the Eoad Board. Creditors’ Trustee in the Estate op W, Ton v. Bethell and Another.—His Honor delivered judgment in this case also

It was for tho defendants, a decree to register mortgage for tho defendants being granted. Stage v. Mooee.—This was set down for argutnent on demurrer to the second plea. Mr Joynt, instructed by Mr Slater, supported the demurrer. Mr Harper appeared on the other side. After argument, Ills Honor gave judgment for plaintiff on the demurrer, with leave to amend the plea within 14 days. All tho other cases on the list wore postponed, and tho Court rose at 2.30 p.m.
