For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Wellington and Nelson, per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2,10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tni, at 4.45 p.m. _ Friday, March 9
Mails per Eotorua will close os under For the United Kingdom, via ban Francisco, 1.40 p.m. ; late letters. 2 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, Fiji and Sandwich Islands, at 1.20 p.m.; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For Northern Provinces of Now Zealand at 1.40 p.m ; late letters, 2 p.m. For Sydney at 1.40 p.m.; late letters, 2 p.m. For money orders, noon. For registered letters, 12.30 p.m. For posting book packets and newspapers, at 1 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can bo posted in the guard’s van, Christchurch Eaiiway Station, up to 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters boar, iu addition to the full rate of postage, a further single rate of postage as a late foe.
