RAILWAY MANAGEMENT.
10 Tilt KLItOK of THK I.TTTF.LTO.V T!HIS. S;n,—Kindly allow mo apace in your columns to give publicity to another instance of Canterbury Kailway mismanagement. On the 2nd in.-.*- 1 took my ticket from Malvern to Christchurch. Before reaching Ko lie a ton it wi a taken from me by the guard. Shortly r* ter leaving Holies ton, where passengers change carriages, a fresh guard took charge of the train, and demanded my ticket, which, of course, I was unable to produce ; i therefore had to git another. Now, Sir, if it is the rule that passengers are to pay twice over for their tickets, it ceems to me a remarkable one. Assuming it to he the fanlt of the guards, I think the sooner careful men are put in charge of the trains the better.—l am,&c., PASSENGER.
