The Sarah and Mary and the Herald commenced discharging at the Breastwork yesterday. The Day Dawn finishes her loading at the Screw Pile Jetty, taking the W. C. Wentworth’s berth. The Bremen brigantine Bio finished the discharge of her sugar cargo yesterday, and loads oats for Adelaide. lie barque W. C, Wentworth was towed out into the fairway hy the p.s. Titan yesterday evening, and sails for Newcastle to-day. Ttu brigantine Sea Bird was towed out from the wharf last evening, having taken in cargo and cleared the Customs j she sailed lor the Chathams during the evening. The schooner Herald, C»pt M'Kay, left Fioton on Nor. 18 with a north-was 1 wind; sheltered in Port Underwood next day, and left on Tuesday morning with northerly winds, arriving in harbour at S p.m, on Wainesday. ' Spoke the trig Craig ’.illachie off the Eidkonroa, bound to the Bluff. The brigantine Mary King, Cant Wills, left Westport on Friday, Nov. 17, at midnight, with light and variable winds, which lasted until reaching Cooks Strait, when the wind settled at north, and blew fresh; passed the Brothers on Tuesday, Nor. 21, and the Kaikooras at 4 p.m. on Wednesday; thence light and variable winds to arrival in harbour at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. The Mary King brings a cargo of timber consigned to Messrs F. Cunningham and Co.

The schooner Nelson, from Havelock, arrived yesterday morning; she left on Thursday, Nov, 16, with a south-east breeze, and arrived at Ketu Bay at 8 son. same day; left at 9 a.m. next day with a north-west breeze; passed Cape Campbell at 1 aun. on Nov. 18, and was off Waipapa at 4 a.m. on Sunday, when she ran back to Port Underwood for shelter ; left again at 4 30 a.m. on Tuesday, with four vessels bound here, with a north-west breeze; passed Cape Campbell again at 11 a.m„ arriving in harbour at 4,30 a.m. yesterday. The schooner Spray, Capt Buxton, left Hokitika on Nov. 15, in tow of the tug Lioness, with a couthwest breeze, which shifted to the eastward next day; on Nov. 18 encountered a south-east gale, and ran hack to Port Underwood for shelter; left there on Tuesday morning with a northerly breeze; sighted the Peninsula on Wednesday, and arrived in harbour at 8 a.m. yesterday morning. The Spray brings a cargo of 40,000 feet of timber consigned to MrKerr.
