MailH for Otago and Southland, per Beautiful Star, will close this day, 22nd inst., at 11.16 a.m. Letters must be specially so addressed. _ Mails for Newcastle, N.S.W., per Southern Cross, will close at 2 p.m. on the 22nd mst. Letters must be specially addressed. Mails close for Otago and Southland at 11.15 a.m. on Monday, the 26th inst. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, America, and the West Indies, via * San Francisco, will close on Tuesday, August 2; hour of closing in future notice.
