Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, and America, West Indies, and Sandwich Islands, will close this day, at 8.45 a.m. For newspapers at 7.30 a.m. For Northern provinces of New Zealand this day, at 9 a.m. Late letters for all the above places may be posted till 9.25 a.m. this day, such letters must bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. 6 Mails for the United Kingdom, Continent Sir ® u .™P e » Asia, and Africa, via Suez and Marseilles and Brindisi, will close at 11.15 a.m. on Thursday. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by this route must be specially so addressed. Correspondence for the Australian Colonies and the United Kingdom, may be posted until 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, and with a late fee until 6 a.m. on Friday, June 3, such letter must be specially addressed via Hokitika.
