ARRIVAL OF THE GALATEA, Her Majesty’s ship Galatea, Captain H. R. H. the Duke of Edinburgh, arrived » harbour from Nelson on April 22, at 5 am. The Galatea left Sydney on April 3, ana encountered a strong head wind which soo increased to a fierce gale. On the 6th t gale abated and she steamed the remainder of the passage, the wind being fine am pleasant, and arrived in Wellington harbo on April 11 at noon; left Wellington for Nelson at 5 a.m. on the 17th, and arrived a* noon next day; left again at midnight the 20th, arriving at Lyttelton as abov , being piloted into the harbour by her owu officers. , H.M. Ship Galatea, Captain Adeane, sane for Wellington on Sunday morning, a o’clock. The Galatea will coal at WeUmg ton, and proceed to Auckland.
