Mails for the Continent of Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia, Africa, and America, the Australian Colonies, and the Northern Ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 8.45 a.m. on Friday, May 14. Newspapers at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 13. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 13. Late Letters for all the above places can be posted until 9.26 a.m., by affixing an additional sixpenny stamp.
