High Water—s,ol a,m.; 5.27 p.m. TnK brig Nil Desperandum sailed for Newcastle yesterday, at 5 p.m. The ship Hydaspes was brought up the harbour to a loading berth off Officer Point yesterday afternoon. The passeugers by the ship Glenmark were landed with their luggage yesterday afternoon by the s.s. Mullogh. The schooner E. U. Cama-on, Captain Donnelly, arrived in harbour yesterday at one p.m., from Hokitika, Left that port on Sunday, Dec. 6, and experienced hard N. and N.W. gales with heavy sea till the 9th. Passed Cape Earewell on the 10th, Stephen's Island on the 11th, and had a fine run through the Straits. When off the White Bluff spoke the schooner Canterbury, bound to Hokitika, from Lyttelton, eight days out. Captain Bowton reports having experienced very bad weather, and the loss of nearly all his live stock, Since then had light southerly winds and fine weather up to arrival.
